California Air Compressor 2075A Review

California Air Tools is a relatively new company to me. I haven’t tried their products before, but since the overall feedback about series 2010A and 2075A air compressors is positive, I decided to give it a shot anyway. This review is for California Air Tools 2075A air compressor – the one with 2+ gallons of air storage capacity and a roaring ¾ HP to back up all that air pressure. Unlike my other power tool reviews, I decided to take a different road for this one. Since I am admittedly a first time user, I wanted to give a unique step-by-step perspective on what I really liked and hated about this California air compressor.

Makita Air Compressor MAC5200 Review

Makita Mac5200 is not only a ‘Big Bore’ category air compressor, but has also been in the market since 2007. Obviously, over the course of a decade, this very same Makita air compressor model has gone through several revisions, but if there’s one thing that hasn’t changed a bit; it’s the unprecedented quality and long term air pump performance.
As compared to its predecessors, and especially other high performance air compressors, the Makita Mac5200 model has got several tricks up its sleeve. For instance, the product boasts of a staggering 3 HP, a surplus 90 PSI at max CFM; this value is variable for different projects, and overall better build quality.

Dewalt Air Compressor DWFP55126 Review

Dewalt manages to maintain that typical high profile power tools manufacturer image with the recent release of the DWFP55126 series air compressor. It is spick n’ span on the outside and boasts a ginormous 6-gallon storage capacity within the confines of a small body. Well, technically, this bad boy is not that small because its miniature looks are a little deceptive. But then again, it is all done in a subtle manner. Therefore, I am not taking away any points from Dewalt DWFP55126 6 Gallon Pancake Air Compressor for a flawless execution of brilliance, durability and a staggering air pressure.

Porter Cable C2002 WK Air Compressor Review

Porter Cable may not be the perfect power tools company in the market, but their products are more of an ideal substitute for a budget conscious user. I have tried Porter Cable jig saws, Porter Cable Table Saws and many other accessories to finally recognize them as a trusted brand for cheap and affordable solutions concerning construction n;’ repair related work. I have spent more than a week testing out the kinks with the fancy new Porter Cable C2002 series Oil Free pancake air compressor. It has a low-ticket price alongside a humongous 150 PSI rating – and don’t forget the 6 gallon compressed air capacity. You got yourself a dandy looking product that works well with car tires, nail guns, paint nozzles and tons of other things.

Campbell Hausfeld Air Compressor DC040500 Review

Among the few air compressors, I have tried to date, the Campbell Hausfeld air compressor model: DC040500 is a much more favored product on my radar. By capacity, the aforementioned model holds approx. 4.4 Gallons of super compressed air, but if that limit is too low for you, you can sift through the company’s other products. Campbell Hausfeld offers alternative models of the Quiet Air Compressor DC040500 series with air holding capacity ranging from a minimum of 1.3 Gallons and up to a maximum of 8 Gallons. This feature alone is a big plus one for veteran air compressor users out there, but what about first timers who have never purchased a compressor before?

Bostitch Air Compressor 6 Gal BTFP02012 Review

Founded in 1986, Bostitch has earned a solid reputation for manufacturing a steady line of power tools for the industry’s professionals. The company focuses on creating products with a balanced proportion to cost vs. efficiency. I have to admit, that sometimes Bostitch clearly demonstrates a lack of deliverables through its power tools, but this wasn’t the case with their latest air compressor. I recently tried the Bostitch BTFP02012 series Pancake Air Compressor and the results were quite impressive.

Black and Decker BDEJS600C Jigsaw Review

Black and Decker has been a serious market contender in the power tools industry. Over the last few years, the company has released all kinds of products for DIYers and professionals who wish to attain a specific level of perfection in their individual projects. With the release of the Black and Decker BDEJS600C jigsaw, the company aimed to woo the hearts of woodworkers on the internet, but a lot of things went off course. Black and Decker BDEJS600C model falls under the category of budget jigsaw – it is cheap, like $30 cheap! There are better substitutes, and frankly speaking, the company could have implemented a better strategy of showing professionalism over cheap quality build.

Husqvarna 460 24-Inch Rancher Chainsaw Review

Straight from the heart of Arkansas, Husqvarna Co. has maintained an impeccable reputation in the market since its inception. I wanted this article to be a little salesy with big and promising words about the business because I damn well know for sure that the company products deliver what they preach about. Quality, performance and long lasting results are few of the elements that embody the all new Husqvarna 460 24-Inch Rancher Chain Saw. It’s a beastly power tool with a 60cc 2 stroke engine and a bodacious booty kickin’ blade that can munch through any log without choking up on sawdust.

SKILSAW SPT99-11 10 Inch Table Saw Review

Whether it’s a circular saw or a table saw, as long as it’s associated with the Worm Drive category, you are looking at twice as much work output. Of course, the speed of these worm drives doesn’t affect precision at all. The only cases that demonstrate sloppy performance are the ones where power tool manufacturers combine a worm drive system with low quality parts.Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of reviewing Skilsaw SPT99-11; a bodacious domestic booty-kicking table saw with tons of perks up its sleeve. This review is also more of rant where I talk about Skil’s previous products and how things are looking up in the power tool market these days.

SKIL 4495-02 Orbital Laser Jigsaw Review

To start off, it is one of the cheapest jigsaws that SKIL has produced to date. I thought Porter Cable was attending to a selected community of woodworkers out there, but SKIL and Bosch both took a different approach this time. Today, I have a SKIL 4495-02 Orbital Laser Jigsaw. It has a an inexpensive ticket price. Pricing ranges a bit and yours can be a little cheaper or more expensive, depending on where you buy the Skil jigsaw from. If you are buying from Amazon, the jigsaws listed at their website have a stable price. It doesn’t fluctuate much. eBay, is a different story, since everyone’s selling everything at their desired rate.
