Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Miter Saw Review
Ryobi decided to join the big boys’ league with the release of the all-new Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Miter Saw. Of course, there’s a twist – perhaps you already know about it because of the “cordless” wording. Yep, this is a lightweight Ryobi miter saw that doesn’t require any cords or power outlets to operate! Yayyy, that’s cool, right? Technically, it is a nice change to see a typical miter saw going cordless, but there are many limitations in this seemingly perfect equation.
DEWALT DWS780 12-Inch Compound Miter Saw Review
Miter saws have been around in the industry since the 70’s. If you haven’t used one, you should do it right away. Obviously, you’re going to have to look beyond the price tag because these puppers are a little expensive. However, one miter saw is far superior to a table saw over a great range of aspects. I tried my first miter saw back in late 70’s; everything was god damn manual, but it was worth it. The notion of using a miter saw in that time period was beyond scary. You were dealing with a cutting power tool; OSHA was not there, and so were the safety standards. Things were a little hard to get by, but they were worth it.
Hitachi C12RSH2 12-Inch Miter Saw Review
Hitachi is a trusted brand. Do you know how I know that? It’s because I have been using their product, yes, one product only, for the last 14 years or so. My mom bought an old Hitachi vacuum cleaner in the late 90s, and even though the new standards have improved via brushless motor design, upright structure and even a digital dashboard, this old vacuum cleaner refuses to give up. Talk about long-term product durability. Don’t believe me? Well, how about I update this post later with my personal beat down Hitachi vacuum cleaner pics. For now, let’s focus on reviewing the all new Hitachi C12RSH2 Miter Saw.
Milwaukee 6955-20 12-Inch Sliding Miter Saw Review
I might be taking a wild guess, but Milwaukee Co. is probably not used to releasing their products in the miter saw realm in frequency. It is a good thing because instead of competing head on with other companies, they took their time to do some research. Eventually, when Milwaukee did release a miter saw, it was state of the art technology embedded with some of the most advanced feature. Today, I am reviewing the relatively new Milwaukee 6955-20 12 inch miter saw. It is a sliding compound miter saw that comes with the ability to make bevel cuts on both sides – i.e. you can tilt it on the left or the right side to make some beautiful angled cuts.
Makita LS1016L 10-Inch Dual Slide Miter Saw Review
Off the top of my head, I can only think of a select number of brands concerning miter saws. The reason being is the fact that they are mostly expensive, and it is not easy to switch over to an alternate power tool in case you end up with a low quality one. Speaking of reliability and convenience, I recently reviewed the Makita LS1016L 10-Inch Dual Slide miter saw. It is a compound category miter saw, which calls for ability to slide and tilt it in different directions. The company made a remarkable product – and given that there is a laser projection guide system, inaccurate cuts are no longer an issue.
Best Circular Saw in 2018 Review
Buying a circular saw for the first time is a lot like having sex; you are excited to make the first cut, but yet at the same time, there’s an uncertain situation. I apologize in advance if the subject of cordless circular saws and adrenaline rush puts you in an uncomfortable position, but do-it-yourselfers know this better. Especially professionals… They have a no-holds barred attitude about woodworking. These guys settle for none other than the best circular saws in the market. If you are an expert saw owner, and you are reading this article, this post is not for you. It is not for a lack of words because the more we go into details, the more we get to learn all kinds of interesting things about these bad boys.
Bosch GCM12SD 120-Volt 12-Inch DB Glide Miter Saw Review
Ever since Bosch electronics entered the power tools industry, things got a little tough for the contenders. Today, I have a brand new unit of the Bosch GCM12SD Db Glide Miter Saw. Sadly, it is a loaner product that has to be returned shortly. All I can say is that I’d be upset to part ways with this Bosch miter saw because of the overall perks, durability factor and other benefits. Bosch has definitely outdone a lot of other power tools, which sometimes lack the benefits that this mean dog is capable of delivering.
Best Table Saw in 2018 Review
Woodworking and on-site construction are not my forte’, but I dabble a lot in both fields for many reasons. You’d understand this theory if you have been working with lumber for a long time; everything about it just seems so intriguing. You start off with a DIY project here and there; maybe a couple of training videos on the internet, and the next thing you know is the same ol’ ‘Hey-this-seems-like-a-cool-project’ dilemma. Things seldom turn out as per the tutor instructions, or whatever he made by the end of the project.
The Complete Table Saw Buying Guide
Woodworkers are well aware that they’re gonna’ need serious cutting tools at some point in their morbid careers. I am talking about specific power tools which are high up the league, such as; chainsaws, jig saws and table saws. Speaking of the latter kind, this detailed write up is all about buying your table saw the way it’s meant to be - that means getting down to the brass tacks and discussing different aspects of what would be an ideal table saw.
SKILSAW SPT99-11 10 Inch Table Saw Review
Whether it’s a circular saw or a table saw, as long as it’s associated with the Worm Drive category, you are looking at twice as much work output. Of course, the speed of these worm drives doesn’t affect precision at all. The only cases that demonstrate sloppy performance are the ones where power tool manufacturers combine a worm drive system with low quality parts.Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of reviewing Skilsaw SPT99-11; a bodacious domestic booty-kicking table saw with tons of perks up its sleeve. This review is also more of rant where I talk about Skil’s previous products and how things are looking up in the power tool market these days.
