Bosch GCM12SD 12-Inch Miter Saw Review

Ever since Bosch electronics entered the power tools industry, things got a little tough for the contenders. Today, I have a brand new unit of the Bosch GCM12SD Db Glide Miter Saw. Sadly, it is a loaner product that has to be returned shortly. All I can say is that I’d be upset to part ways with this Bosch miter saw because of the overall perks, durability factor and other benefits. Bosch has definitely outdone a lot of other power tools, which sometimes lack the benefits that this mean dog is capable of delivering.

The Complete Table Saw Buying Guide

Woodworkers are well aware that they’re gonna’ need serious cutting tools at some point in their morbid careers. I am talking about specific power tools which are high up the league, such as; chainsaws, jig saws and table saws. Speaking of the latter kind, this detailed write up is all about buying your table saw the way it’s meant to be – that means getting down to the brass tacks and discussing different aspects of what would be an ideal table saw.

SKIL 3410-02 Portable Table Saw Review

Coming straight from the Bosch 4100 table saw to a SKIL table saw made me to expect the same level of performance, but things turned out a little different. I am certainly not brushing off the SKIL 3410-02 electric table saw in the wrong way; it’s just that there are a few weak links that could have been handled better. Needless to say, model 3410-02 is one of the coolest products that SKIL has released for a budget conscious consumer market.

Bosch 4100-09 10-Inch Worksite Table Saw Review

Bosch is a trusted brand with a long line of satisfied customers from all across the world. I am not over exaggerating anything; the company’s reputation supersedes its products in many cases. On a personal level, I got acquainted with Bosch for the first time when I bought an AC power shoe. It lasted longer than I expected, which made me to have faith in Bosch over the following years. Today I have the distinct pleasure of reviewing Bosch 4100-09 worksite table saw. It is not only a marvel to look at, but this Bosch table saw also works a lot more than what the masthead says. There are tons of hidden features in this power tool.

DEWALT DW745 10-Inch Table Saw Review

Unlike my blazing hot expectations, my Dewalt Dw745 compact job site table saw turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. Not in a bad way, but it wasn’t a suitable product for what I had in mind. You see, I was thinking of creating a couple of heavy duty chairs and accompanying furniture parts with the help of this Dewalt table saw, but the most I could churn out was small stack cuts and biscuit joints.Dewalt Dw745 table saw review is strictly for home based users who are DIY enthusiasts. The table saw is not bad; if you are concerned about quality, dependability and long lasting results, they are all in there.

Makita 2705 10-Inch Contractor Table Saw Review

There’s a strong and valid reason for labeling Makita 2705 as a “contractor” category table saw. You can actually pursue your desire to be a master craftsman by bidding for professional grade contracts in the market. Yep, this Makita table saw has just the right amount of professionalism amalgamated in a cheeky little package where, I think, any amount of DIY and other project builders can feel comfortable. This is not an in depth Makita 2705 10-Inch Contractor Table Saw; I like to think that anything beyond 2000 words is a detailed review of a product. Take this article as an introductory account of someone’s first few days with an entirely new and different Makita power tool.

The Complete Chainsaw Buying Guide

I don’t know why the notion of having a chainsaw reminds me of the ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ movie series, but somehow the idea has always been stuck in my head. Things changed a little when I actually owned and tried several models from both cordless and corded electric chainsaw categories over the last few years. Still, I am not an expert by any means – I wanted to help fellow woodworkers who are just getting their feet wet in this field.

WORX WG303.1 16-Inch Chainsaw Review

I don’t want to keep you in suspense by overstating anything that has to do with preselling sh*t. The WORX WG303.1 corded chainsaw is a not match for the Husqvarna 460 Rancher chainsaw or GREENWORKS’ power tools for that matter, but there are a few perks that make a Worx chainsaw a conducive match to any number of situations. You can press the ‘Back Button’ by all means, but know this that this particular chainsaw model got over 1,200 staggering reviews at Amazon! How so? Read on…

Greenworks CS40L210 Chainsaw Review

I don’t know much about professional wood cutting, but I do have a strong dependency on lumber especially during the chilly winter season. Back in the days when I was in my mid-twenties, my wife and I had a 2 stroke gas powered saw. We didn’t know much about CCs, volts and all those tech jargons that come intertwined with today’s products, but as long as that saw lasted, we literally cut through endless logs. Needless to say, the vibrations damaged my tendons and I couldn’t use a gas powered saw anymore. I needed an alternative – and that too without any prior knowledge off cordless battery powered chainsaws.

Black & Decker LCS1020 Chainsaw Review

Let’s just say I wasn’t planning to switch to a new cordless chainsaw, but somehow I ended up with the Black+Decker LCS1020 in the process. It is a 20V chainsaw with a cute 10-inch bar. Gotta’ admit that the size is pretty small for a cutting tool that’s usually associated with major on-site work. However, Black & Decker wanted to release something for the minority out there. Dwarves, midgets and regular sized human owners have greatly benefited since then! This specific Black and Decker chainsaw model is described as an ideal power tool for small scale tasks; such as but not limited to pruning, chiseling, wood carving etc.
